Christine Nakamura

Christine Nakamura served as a member of the National Forum on Anti-Asian Racism's Steering Committee and was instrumental in bringing to life two National Forums on Anti-Asian Racism. At the most recent forum hosted by the Faculty of Arts, Christine volunteered as a speaker and community convener, bringing countless voices and ideas from the Japanese Canadian community and beyond to the forefront of the conversation. Christine also demonstrated her support by leading fundraising efforts, securing more than 50 per cent of the sponsorships for the event.
