Alex Tsoulis

Aerospace Engineering ’85, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering ’86

Since graduating, Alex Tsoulis has never stopped mentoring students. He has co-supervised at least five 4th-year thesis students per year, mentored the Ryerson student branch chapter of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute on technical aspects of aircraft design and career development, and never turns down requests from students and faculty for guided tours of the manufacturing facilities where he works. Alex has provided invaluable real-world experience to Aerospace students, and has been a guest lecturer for many years to the 4th-year capstone design course in aircraft design. He has also served for multiple years on the Aerospace Industrial Advisory Committee, tasked with keeping the undergraduate program technically up-to-date. A stalwart volunteer to Aerospace at Ryerson, Alex has had an immeasurable positive influence on countless students for several decades.
