

Tania Bortolotto
Architectural Science ’90
Prior to opening her practice in 1999, award-winning architect and interior designer Tania Bortolotto worked at the firms of Diamond and Schmitt Architects, Teeple Architects and Kohn Shnier Architects. Her passionate approach to her work integrates sustainable and leading-edge technologies in all types of projects, from buildings and interiors to overall site planning. Under her direction, Bortolotto Design Architect has received numerous awards from the Ontario Association of Architects and the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario. Ms Bortolotto is also a charter member of Toronto’s Waterfront Design Review Panel, as well as a thesis mentor at Ryerson’s Department of Architectural Science and a member of the program advisory committee for the implementation of the new Masters of Architecture.
Life at TMU taught me to appreciate diverse perspectives and the richness they bring to problem-solving and creativity.
