

Sharifa Khan

Sharifa Khan is a specialist in ethnic-market communications in public, government, community and media relations, as well as advertising and event management. Launching her own firm in 1989, Ms. Khan has continued to build upon her reputation as a leader in marketing and public relations. Ms. Khan has a history of leadership in Toronto: she was the first female President of the Toronto Chinese Business Association, first minority group female Vice President of the Canadian Club, and has been director of the Toronto Board of Trade, Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation and Canada Post. As Festival Development chair and a founding member, Ms. Khan helped build the popular Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival into a major success.
