A grandmother’s teachings about baking and the importance of tasty, nutritious food became the founding tenets for Alon Ozery’s first business venture. A family-owned business founded in 1997, Ozery’s Pita Break produces all-natural pita and cracker products. Sold in health food stores and leading grocery chains in Ontario and Quebec, Pita Break has recently entered the U.S. market. Mr. Ozery’s business sense and innovative thinking has distinguished him as a young Canadian entrepreneur worthy of watching. He enjoys giving back to the community and is a member of the Board of Directors of YES (Youth Employment Services), an innovative not-for-profit organization, offering Canada’s first youth employment centre and business incubator.
