President and COO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment

An accomplished sports and entertainment business leader, Tom Anselmi was named president and chief operating officer of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment in 2012, leading the senior management team that has grown the organization into a global leader in the industry. He originally joined MLSE in 1996 as vice-president, project director responsible for the overall development of the Air Canada Centre, home to the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs and the NBA’s Toronto Raptors. A registered professional engineer and a member of the Board of Governors of Major League Soccer, he is also a community leader, actively involved with the MLSE Team Up Foundation, Get Active Toronto and the Toronto Board of Trade.
