Ross Mutton

Radio and Television Arts ’69

Ross Mutton graduated from the Radio and Television Arts Program at Ryerson in 1969, and received a degree from the University in 1975. Ross has long been active with a group of Ottawa-area Ryerson graduates in organizing local events and working towards the 2010 formation of an official Regional Branch in Ottawa. He has served as a presidential representative in Ottawa at numerous academic convocations and installations. Ross has been a consistent and generous donor to the University. Ross recently completed his term on the Ryerson University Alumni Association, after having served four years as Director, Regional Branches. Ross recently retired following a long career at Carleton University in Ottawa, including as Director of Instructional Media Services.

I was always proud of being a Ryerson graduate enabling me to have a long career in educational media production and management. My degree literally opened doors. I felt a responsibility for giving back and helping future graduates succeed at Ryerson — now TMU.
