Join us over lunch on November 24 for a book talk with the authors of The Bite Me Balance Cookbook, Julie Albert (Journalism ’97) and Lisa Gnat. 

The Bite Me Balance Cookbook is just what you’ve been waiting for: an approachable, fun, and funny roadmap to guide you towards a perfect healthy and happy balance.

During this event Julie and Lisa will show you how to cook a delicious Thai Chicken Noodle Soup. They will also share their tips and tricks to help set you up for success in the kitchen and at the table.

Registered guests of this event will receive an emailed copy of the Thai Chicken Noodle Soup and other lunch recipes so you can follow along with Julie and Lisa at home. 

This event is part of Book Talk, a new webinar series for Toronto Metropolitan University’s alumni and friends.

About the Authors:

Julie Albert and Lisa Gnat are the saucy sisters behind the blog Bite Me More, the bestselling cookbooks Bite Me, Bite Me Too, and Lick Your Plate, and founders of the Bite Me Digital Agency. Julie, the writerly sister who dreams in fonts and future tense, attended McGill University, Keio University in Tokyo, and Toronto Metropolitan University School of Journalism. She lives in Toronto, with her husband and three kids. Lisa, the sister with the bionic sense of taste and perfect palate, studied Pastry Arts at George Brown College and ran a successful baking business before she started writing cookbooks. She lives five blocks away from Julie in Toronto, with her husband and three kids.
