In the unlikely event of a discrepancy, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) reserves the right to verify that the information matches your official record within the university's Student Administrative System (SAS) and take corrective action if necessary. The SAS record is the only official record of your application status and application history.

TMU is committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information, and maintains safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure. As an applicant, you are solely responsible for the following:

• Keeping your TMU username and password, as well as other application information (e.g. TMU student number), confidential and secure.

• Notifying Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access, use or disclosure of your personal portal page.

You are advised to print and/or save copies of any letters in your My Communications that you wish to keep for your own records.

PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY AND INFORMATION

Web pages and documents accessed via the internet are placed in the temporary storage area of the computer and browser you use. If you are using a public or shared computer take appropriate precautions to protect your information, including but not limited to the following:

• Use a trusted computer whenever possible.
• When you are finished, always sign out, clear the browser's cache and close all browser windows.
