Steven Sharma

Steven is a Partner in KPMG’s Financial Services audit practice with over ten years of experience in public accounting. He has worked extensively with financial services clients, specializing in investment dealers, capital markets, mutual & private equity funds and banking. Prior to joining KPMG, he was employed with a large Canadian chartered bank for three years.

Currently, Steven oversees the financial statement audits of a number of financial services companies, including the brokerage arm of two major banks and several other privately owned investment-dealers. Notwithstanding, Steven also leads a number of KPMG’s capital markets, wealth management, and mutual fund clients. In addition, Steven leads KPMG’s national investment dealer practice.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in Economics from McMaster University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
