Why does academic integrity matter to you?
Academic integrity matters to me because I want to make sure I have the necessary skills that will help me be successful in the workplace. Maintaining academic integrity has helped gain critical thinking skills, improved my creativity and allowed me to think outside of the box while keeping my authenticity. In the long run, I want to make sure any projects or initiatives I work on are unique and different compared to others. Overall, academic integrity is important to me because I want to always be able to feel confident in my abilities and not rely on shortcuts.
What do you want to achieve while you are at TMU?
I want make some sort of impact to the TMU community while I am here. Even if it mentoring younger students or working with student groups on campus and host events. When you are part of such a big community it can be difficult to find your voice, you just got to find what interests you and what you are passionate about.
