Primary care is the foundation of effective, patient-centred health systems that support individuals and communities to thrive – not just survive. Yet Canadians are increasingly struggling to access it and clinicians are struggling to provide it in a strained health system.
This session will explore primary care as the foundation for healthy communities, reimagining how we might structure the health system, engage communities and train future primary care providers to improve health for all.
