The university’s Academic Plan outlines advancing Indigenous Initiatives as one of its primary priorities. As an employer, this means embracing Indigenous faculty and staff, and increasing Indigenous representation across all levels of the campus. Our goal is to reflect the diversity of our students and the community around us.

Truth and Reconciliation at Toronto Metropolitan University
Increasing the number of Indigenous faculty and staff at the university, and creating space for Traditional Knowledge Keepers, is one of TMU’s goals as outlined in (PDF file) the University’s Truth and Reconciliation Consultation Report.
